We were blessed to have the childhoods that we've had. I, too, spent many hours bored while the moms did their own things. After all, there's only so much you can do. I remember lots of WAITING at doctors, dentists, while mom socialized, shopped, you name it.

And like you, during the height of it, when we relocated from Hawaii to Barstow (the middle of the desert) I "discovered" reading. Love finding things in common with you, Bonnie, xo

I hear you, Lani! All those long hours pottering and waiting for the adults with nothing to do! Looking back now, I am thankful to have experienced a time when there's no internet, no handheld smart devices, no streaming service. It might feel so boring and uncomfortable to us as children, yet unknowingly we were gifted the opportunity to learn to be present, observant, curious and creative. The older I get, the more I start to remember my childhood, as if there's a call within to come back to spaciousness, slowness, and simplicity, and to all the things that we can touch, like paper books, dirt, flowers, trees, etc. Loved hearing about your childhood, Lani - and I look forward to discovering more through your writing, too!

Ah, this is perfect, "spaciousness, slowness, and simplicity". We were blessed in ways we were not aware of, how much the world and upbringing children have changed. Thanks, Bonnie! xo

Thank you, Kaitlyn! I've enjoyed experimenting different ways to tell my stories and share my creative expression. It looks like many of us are feeling called to try something different amidst so many significant shifts among the stars and planets! I look forward to watching your latest podcast, too!!

I'm looking forward to "C"—I naturally had to go back to find "A" since I somehow missed it hehe I love it.

It sure does look like there is some shifting in our creative expression. I'm here for it!

Thank you, Bonnie 🫶 I'd love to hear how you like it once you do have a watch.

I was only thinking of you this morning Bonnie and then hey presto you arrived in my inbox ❤️ thank you as always for sharing and your wise words. I am currently in France and have been having a challenging time with my Dad who is unwell in hospital. I have spent many hours by his bedside clicking away on my phone however my data was not available one day and I had to just sit 😊 I thought of all the things you’ve just posted. I rarely just sit finding it a hard thing to do, I felt peaceful though just sitting in my Dads hospital room and I cherished the moment. Nameste Bonnie ❤️
